– Position: Chef
– Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
– Wage: $22.50~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
– Number of Positions: 1
– Work Location: 1-612 Head St, Victoria, BC V9A 5S8

– 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Estimate food requirements and food costs
– Supervise activities of other cooks and kitchen staffs
– Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
– Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staffs
– Prepare and cook complete meals
– Create new recipes
– Instruct cooks in food preparation
– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Job requirements:

– Language: English
– Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
– Education: Completion of secondary school is required
