Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting for a Surveyor to support the Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, AB. This 5 days on, 2 days off shift features day work with possible afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Local candidates only; you’ll prepare surveys and reports, evaluate sites, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance on municipal infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of construction surveying experience.
  • Experience on industrial, municipal infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare survey reports, sketches, field notes, and documentation.
  • Perform site evaluations and map piping infrastructure.
  • Interpret drawings, site plans and survey data.
  • Inspect water lines, filtration equipment, wells and reservoirs.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.

Jardeg is currently recruiting for aSurveyorto work with Technical Workforce Inc. for theFish Creek Wastewater Treatment PlantinCalgary, AB!

This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

At this time, only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare survey reports, sketches, field notes, and documentation
  • Perform site evaluations, measure water quality parameters and map piping infrastructure
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, site plans, and survey data
  • Inspect water lines, filtration equipment, wells, and reservoirs to ensure operational safety and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment as required.
  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of construction surveying experience.
  • Experience working on industrial, municipal infrastructure, water, or wastewater treatment projects is an asset
  • Experience withTrimble robotic total stationis a strong asset
  • Experience with concrete layout/check/sets
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
