SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd in Winnipeg is seeking a Survey Support Specialist with experience in surveying, estimating, and construction technologies. You will support customers using Trimble hardware and software, provide on-site and remote assistance, and deliver training to maximize product understanding.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• Experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, earthmoving operations is a plus.
• Prior customer service and/or experience with construction technologies and software (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using Trimble surveying equipment, machine control and software.
• Offer on-site assistance and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Provide remote support via phone, email, or remote desktop to resolve issues.
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for customers to ensure effective use of Trimble products.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Trimble surveying, machine control, and office products and stay updated with new releases.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with Trimble equipment and software.
• Create and update technical documentation and guides for common issues.
• Document and record processes accurately.
• Utilize training to upgrade current skills.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SITECH is the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil Engineering construction products, software and services, as well as industry leading machine control systems. We are seeking candidates with experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, earthmoving operations. Prior customer service and/or experience with construction technologies and software, such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra, a plus.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually depending on experience.

SurveySupport Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers who use Trimble Construction Surveying equipment and software, Machine Control and Guidance equipment, Trimble Business Center software and Trimble’s web based software;
• Offer on-site assistance and troubleshooting when necessary;
• Provide remote support through phone, email. or remote desktop tools to help customers resolve technical issues;
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for customers to ensure they understand how to use Trimble products effectively;
• Maintain a deep understanding of Trimble's surveying, machine control and guidance and office products and keeping up-to-date with new product releases, updates and features;
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and challenges that customers encounter with Trimble equipment and software;
• Create and update technical documentation and guides to help customers troubleshoot common issues on their own;
• Document and record processes accurately;
• Use available training to continue upgrading current skill set;
• Willing to travel as required;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
