SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking a Survey Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for Trimble surveying equipment and software.

The role includes on-site and remote support, customer training, and ongoing product knowledge to ensure optimal use of Trimble solutions. Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude, with experience in surveying or construction technologies considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using Trimble surveying equipment, machine control, and Trimble software.
• Offer on-site assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Provide remote support via phone, email, or remote desktop to resolve issues.
• Conduct training sessions to help customers use Trimble products effectively.
• Stay updated on Trimble surveying, machine control, and software releases and features.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with Trimble equipment and software.
• Create and update technical documentation and guides for customer self-help.
• Record processes accurately and maintain documentation.
• Continuously upgrade skills through available training.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd., is hiring a Survey Support Specialist in Winnipeg. SITECH is the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil Engineering construction products, software and services, as well as industry leading machine control systems. We are seeking candidates with experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, earthmoving operations. Prior customer service and/or experience with construction technologies and software, such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra, a plus.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually depending on experience.

SurveySupport Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers who use Trimble Construction Surveying equipment and software, Machine Control and Guidance equipment, Trimble Business Center software and Trimble’s web based software;
• Offer on-site assistance and troubleshooting when necessary;
• Provide remote support through phone, email. or remote desktop tools to help customers resolve technical issues;
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for customers to ensure they understand how to use Trimble products effectively;
• Maintain a deep understanding of Trimble's surveying, machine control and guidance and office products and keeping up-to-date with new product releases, updates and features;
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and challenges that customers encounter with Trimble equipment and software;
• Create and update technical documentation and guides to help customers troubleshoot common issues on their own;
• Document and record processes accurately;
• Use available training to continue upgrading current skill set;
• Willing to travel as required;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
