SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. at Winnipeg is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and service Trimble equipment at customer sites, with emphasis on safety and quality. You will perform inspections, order parts when needed, and travel within the region to support customers.

The ideal candidate has field experience in civil construction, GPS/GNSS RTK survey knowledge, and strong communication with a positive attitude. On-site parking and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Field experience in Civil Construction & Engineering.
• Familiarity with construction processes and technology.
• Experience with GPS/GNSS RTK survey solutions, survey theory and heavy equipment.
• Post-secondary education.
• Effective Communication Skills and a Positive Attitude.

• Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices.
• Repair and service equipment on site.
• Perform inspections on equipment on job site.
• Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner.
• Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations.
• Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. is Canada’s largest dealership for Trimble construction equipment. Our team at SITECH understands how to apply Trimble technology to effectively solve some of the biggest challenges customers are facing on the construction site. SITECH helps civil engineering and construction customers leverage technology systems for their entire fleet of heavy equipment and survey needs.

Hourly Wage: $30.00-$36.00 depending on experience.

This position reports directly to Service Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.

Field Service Technician
