Programming Objectives

Program every survey with the highest efficiency.

Be the technical expert on the team, capable of executing all complexities and custom survey programming.

Pre-screener, Max Diff and CBC, Complex Priority logic, Knowledge about current programming Templates.

Proficiency in jQuery, HTML 5, CSS, Python (intermediate), RML (intermediate).

Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the programming teams.

Ensure accurate data entry for metrics for reporting purposes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Review survey documents and provide consultation for accurate programming, optimal data layout, and respondent experience.

Program surveys of various complexities (up to level 4) in survey platforms (Decipher and/or CMIX).

Create or update programming templates and coordinate with R&D for custom features.

Program multiple surveys in parallel and deliver initial test links/changes as per timeline.

Test surveys and validate programming content/logic, coordinating with QA teams as needed.

Coordinate with the team for data checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead programming discussions with clients and PMs about best practices and solutions.

Coordinate with translation teams for translations and language overlays.

Assist in mentoring new or existing staff for technical skills.

Position Requirements

3+ years of Decipher programming experience.

Programmed at least 100 projects, including international projects and trackers.

Manage projects independently, review others’ code, and derive outcomes.

Advanced knowledge of Python, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript or jQuery.

Team player who respects and collaborates well with others.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects for on-time delivery.

Attention to detail and a passion for survey programming, with willingness to learn new technologies.

Experience with CMIX, Confirmit, SPSS, Sawtooth, or other online programming software is a plus.

Willingness to work during weekends is a plus.
