Binnie is seeking a Survey Assistant for our Geomatics Group in Burnaby. You’ll support field crews, set up survey instruments, and help deliver control, topographic, and boundary surveys across the Lower Mainland and BC.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with Total Stations, GPS bases, and targets while growing in a collaborative, employee‑owned team that values safety, professionalism, and a positive culture.
You would rather be outdoors than sitting behind a desk. You’re an explorer who takes their work seriously and has fun doing it. You want to get your hands-on survey equipment and learn more about the latest technology.
Binnie is looking for a Survey Assistant to join our Geomatics Group, based out of our Burnaby location working on projects around the Lower Mainland and throughout British Columbia.
As part of our Geomatics Group, you will assist with providing a wide range of survey services–including control, topographic, and boundary surveys, as well as construction layout.
This is an ideal role for a motivated candidate who is looking to develop a career in Geomatics. You will gain valuable work experience and knowledge while working closely within a supportive group of staff.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $28.31 - $35.38 hourly. The final salary for this role may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
