Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Newfoundland and Labrador to monitor access and maintain a secure environment. You will assess risks, document observations, and respond to incidents with calm, professional judgment, following established security protocols.

Training is provided through GardaWorld Campus, uniforms are supplied, and health benefits accrue after probation, supporting ongoing security careers and development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
• Clean criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Background in law enforcement, police services, corrections, or care for vulnerable persons is an asset.
• Professionalism, discipline, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous surveillance of persons in a controlled environment.
• Perform wellness checks at 15 minute intervals, in accordance with security standards and procedures.
• Identify and report risk situations or medical concerns.
• Respond professionally, calmly, and in compliance during sensitive situations.
• Accurately complete official documentation and observation reports.
