The Surgical Technologist (ST) is an integral part of the surgical health care team and functions in the role of scrub person. The ST works under the supervision of the registered nurse and surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
Hours for this PRN position occur Monday-Friday, dayshift 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 2 shifts required per month.
