This junior role as a Sales Associate involves working as an apprentice alongside a senior sales expert, representing one of the most technically advanced portfolios of surgical devices on the market. It is an exciting OR-based sales and service role suited for a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven sales professional, whether currently in medical sales or looking to enter the field.
Your focus will be to promote, sell, and support the usage of surgical devices through daily case support during OR procedures (some on-call work required). You will build trusting relationships with healthcare providers in hospitals and surgical facilities in Northern Alberta by providing clinical education, product demonstrations, technical training, and support to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Qualifications include a university degree (preferably in Sciences or Healthcare, with knowledge of medical terminology and the hospital environment), plus 2 years of inside or outside sales experience in a complex, high-pressure environment with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented, competitive, highly coachable, and a natural relationship builder with a strong customer service orientation. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in medical device sales. The position offers excellent training, mentoring, ongoing professional development, and a salary of $65-75K plus commissions.
