Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our IHSC 1 Surgical team at the Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. This Relief Part-time (0.66) role supports rotating day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, until March 13, 2028, or return of the incumbent.

The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care; delivering client-centered care and applying nursing science across diverse settings within the Okanagan

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

Responsibilities

• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
