A health authority on Vancouver Island is seeking a Surgical Care Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary health care team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and have experience in surgical care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; and
Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis; or
An equivalent combination of education and training.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.
