Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel, Canada, is hiring for a plating operator to carry out chrome, cadmium, and nickel plating processes. You will prepare parts, apply coatings, use measuring instruments, and help ensure quality along the plating line.

Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. The job involves performing chrome, zinc-nickel, and nickel plating operations through electrodeposition using anodes, shapes, anode cages, tanks, chemical solutions, and other techniques.

• Control the conditions of high mechanical strength parts at all stages of the process
• Prepare and assemble parts with anodes and masks
• Perform electrolytic deposits (cadmium plating, chrome plating, or nickel plating)

Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM.

Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, night, or weekend).

• The salary for this position starts between $31.18 and $45.12 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $48.97.
