Job summary

Day Group Timmins is seeking a Surface Mining Field Supervisor to lead crews on mine sites in Timmins. You will oversee scheduling, QA/QC, cost controls, and safety compliance while coordinating with subs, suppliers, and project teams to keep targets on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of field mining or construction experience and 3–4 years in a supervisory role, with a diploma in civil/engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• 5 years of field experience in mining or construction.
• 3–4 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma in civil/engineering or construction management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily field activities to meet schedule, budget and safety targets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor QA/QC, cost controls and scheduling, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Facilitate communication across the team and stakeholders.
