Pay Amount: $52.22/hr

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of heavy-duty equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
• Maintenance and repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Team leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
• Technical analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.
• Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.

Training and Education

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair; Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
