POSITION OVERVIEW

The Surety Bond Services Coordinator will work alongside an experienced team of surety professionals in providing support on a portfolio of high-quality construction surety business. Candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about client service excellence and teamwork are well-suited for this role. Full training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately prepare surety bonds as requested through our customized bond management system.
  • Provide timely turnaround for requests and inquiries from clients.
  • Communicate with underwriters and clients to confirm request details, obtain approvals, and determine premiums.
  • Interpret construction tender packages to verify request details.
  • Invoicing and record keeping in EPIC.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Bond Team to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Be a positive and supportive team member that contributes to our culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience preferred but training available for the right candidate without experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and aptitude for IT-related learning.
  • RIBO and ACSB designations are assets (support for obtaining those licenses will be provided if desired).
  • A strong communicator, both written and oral.
  • Sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Works well both in a group environment and autonomously.
  • Willingness to learn, be challenged to grow, and collaborate with team members.
