Support Worker - Social Services

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Work site environment: Education or training, Early intervention programming for at-risk youth, Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Programs dealing with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

Work setting: Urban area, Various locations, Rural area.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Prepare reports or case histories.
• Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs.
• Assist clients/guests with special needs.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

• First Aid Certificate.
