About the role : The Supervised Bail Housing Program is a 12-bed facility providing community-based, residential supervision for clients released on various forms of bail, including :

  • Clients on JHS Bail Supervision
  • Drug Treatment Court clients referred by Rideauwood
  • Immigration Bail clients referred by CBSA

Particular consideration is given to vulnerable populations such as Indigenous people and those with mental health and addiction issues. Under the supervision of the Residential Coordinator, the Support Worker will perform various tasks related to general support of the residents, activity monitoring, program duties, and building maintenance.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within timelines and deadlines

  • Excellent people skills to facilitate relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and community members
  • Genuine interest in working with clients in a caring and empathic manner
  • Thoroughness in building maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning duties as required
  • Willingness to work weekends, overnights, and evenings
