King Street is located in the centre of Thorne, within walking distance of local facilities including supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, parks, and leisure facilities. The larger towns of Doncaster and Goole are easily accessible by bus.

Being a Support Worker isn’t just about day-to-day support; it’s about having fun! The people we support are involved in activities they enjoy, and they would love their Support Workers to participate with them. Activities at King Street include swimming, going to the gym, drama, theatre shows, and live music events.

Support work is not a 9-5 job. We understand your time is valuable, so we offer a fixed rota to know your shifts well in advance.

Hours of work: Full-time (average 36 hours per week) with part-time options available. Shifts include:

  • Weekdays: Earlies 07:30 – 14:45, Lates 13:15 – 21:45
  • Weekends: Earlies 07:30 – 13:45, Lates 13:15 – 21:45
