Job summary

Enable Scotland is seeking Personal Assistants to support people with learning disabilities in daily living, personal care, and social activities. The role involves collaborating with a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing and achievement of individual goals.

Training will cover autism awareness, moving and handling, first aid, and safeguarding. You will work a shift pattern and support a person-centred approach in the home and community setting.

Qualifications

• Training in person-centred planning and autism awareness.
• Mandatory safeguarding and adult protection knowledge.
• Basic moving and handling techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Encourage social activities and community participation.
