Job Opportunity: Children's Support Worker - Halifax

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Salary: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts

We are currently recruiting Children's Support Workers to join a caring and committed team supporting children and young people aged 5-18 in residential settings across Halifax.

What You'll Do:

Provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and encouragement to children in a safe and nurturing environment

Support children with their routines, schoolwork, personal care, and social development

Promote positive behaviour and manage challenging situations calmly and effectively

Work closely with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child

Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding protocols

Experience working with children or young people (residential, education, or social care settings preferred)

A compassionate, reliable, and resilient approach

NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or willingness to work towards it)

A full UK driving licence is an advantage

Enhanced DBS (or willing to undergo a DBS check)
