Qualifications

  • Member of College of Dietitians of BC & Dietitians of Canada or eligible for CSNM membership.
  • Certificates in Laundry/Environmental Services recommended.
  • Food Safe Level 1 & 2 required.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License & reliable vehicle.

About the Role

As the Coordinator, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of Food Services, Environmental Services, and where applicable, Laundry Services and Stores. You’ll lead teams, implement policies, manage resources, and support special projects—all while ensuring high standards of service and care.

In the absence of the Manager, you’ll take the lead in maintaining smooth operations across departments.

Compensation

Starting salary: $67,861 – $84,826, based on education, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications

Option 1:
  • Bachelor’s in Nutrition/Dietetics
  • 1–3 years’ recent experience
  • Member of College of Dietitians of BC & Dietitians of Canada
Option 2:
  • CSNM-accredited diploma in food service/nutrition management
  • 3–5 years’ experience in acute/long-term care
  • Eligible for CSNM membership
Plus:
  • Certificates in Laundry/Environmental Services

  • Experience with CBORD or similar software
