Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC in Vancouver is seeking Software Development Engineers to help scale selling partner services and maintain highly reliable distributed systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, observable platforms and implement innovative solutions for partners worldwide.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of software development experience, strong Java skills, REST API knowledge, and a good grasp of UNIX/Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development or technical support experience.
• Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting technical systems.
• Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience
• Experience scripting in modern program languages
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
• Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
