Job description

This is a multi-function role in a Business Centre. Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the person in the Sales Support role should be a dynamic self-motivated individual ready to work in a fast-paced team environment and capable of providing superior customer service to our valued customers.


MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

  1. Provide superior customer service communication via telephone, email and/or other communication by promptly and professionally assisting with customers' needs;
  2. Respond to customers' inquiries in a timely manner, with assistance from other team members if needed;
  3. Develop a professional relationship with customers and/or vendors as per criteria established by the Manager;
  4. Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner; follow up and verify commitments are met afterwards;
  5. Proactively suggest associated and/or alternate products as needed;
  6. Quickly inform the appropriate person (Business Centre Manager, Outside Sales Representatives) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, services, etc.
  7. Assist with other administration duties required for the successful running of the Business Centre on an 'as needed' basis (ex: receive and sort mail, prepare deposits, account payables, freight claims, processing paperwork for invoicing, cash reconciliation, and other assigned tasks);
  8. Take a proactive approach to enhancing their technical knowledge through available training on various product lines and learning opportunities;
  9. Support in other tasks as needed (purchasing/inventory management).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Grade 12 minimum completed; ideally 1-2 years of related experience;
  2. Strong communication and people skills, initiative;
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OUTLOOK);
  4. Interest and capability in performing sales duties and purchasing/inventory management functions as needed;
  5. Good knowledge of English and/or French written and spoken;
  6. Strong ability and desire to develop and grow skills.
