The Support Analyst will contribute to the overall success of Coast Hotels by providing technology support services to our Ambassadors. This includes first line support duties such as Help Desk functions, desktop installations, user administration, and general maintenance. This person will also assist in troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Service Desk and troubleshooting for Desktop and Laptop Support for Front End Users on MS OS, MS 365, Windows 10/11 such as:
  • handling daily support calls
  • directing unresolved issues to next level of support
  • Provides troubleshooting for technical inquiries and service request on smartphones/tablets, AV systems, and other.
  • Documents problems and solutions in the Service Desk System
  • Contributes to team innovation through ideas for process improvement and efficiency
  • Develops, implements, and/or participates in the preparation of knowledge base articles and/or documentation for Service Desk use; makes recommendations for improvements
  • Provides some after hours, on call rotational support for our properties
  • Hotel Support: POS, PMS, PCs, printers, other peripherals
  • Prepares hardware and software for new Ambassadors
  • Supports daily backups and file restorations
  • May provide Server support and troubleshooting for Windows 2016/2019
  • Server Administration - Back End Server Support, local server/MS Azure
  • Creating user accounts and assigning access
  • Manages the Active Directory including: DHCP/ DNS/ File/ Print
  • Familiar with AD and group policy
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or technology
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building
  • Some related experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy on Microsoft 365 Products, such as Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate over email and phone
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Open minded and resourceful
  • Keen to learn and grow and ask for help when needed
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Driven to create positive change and growth
  • Exemplifies Coast’s core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability
