Job description

We are looking for a talented Supply Planning Coordinator to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Distribution Unit in Edmonton.

In this role, you will:

  1. Determine the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule or customer demand, under minimal supervision, following Cummins Delegation of Authority Policy.
  2. Expedite purchase or production orders as needed.
  3. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  5. Perform quality checks on material planning master data and support PFEP initiatives.
  6. Provide timely updates on inventory availability and backorder recovery plans.
  7. Manage part change requests and ramp-up/down activities to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  8. Document, communicate, and follow-up on action items impacting delivery schedules.
  9. Communicate effectively within the team and with support functions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience or specialized skills in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.
