Supply Planner

Location : London, Moncton, or Toronto HQ

Status: Full-time

Reports to: Director of Sales & Operations Planning

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to oversee production planning for our co-manufacturing partners. This role is critical in ensuring smooth supply chain operations, optimizing inventory levels, and meeting the evolving demands of our internal brands, white-label partners, and wholesale clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply planning within a fast-paced CPG environment and a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning, Scheduling & Capacity Utilization

  • Review and interpret demand forecasts across multiple channels (internal brands, white-label, and wholesale).
  • Develop and optimize production schedules to align with inventory targets and business objectives over a 12–18 month planning horizon.
  • Implement and refine dynamic scheduling tools to support efficient planning as the business scales.
  • Assess co-manufacturer capacity and capabilities to ensure production plans align with available resources and constraints.
  • Proactively identify capacity bottlenecks and work with internal teams and co-manufacturers to optimize production schedules.
  • Maintain an optimal balance between capacity utilization and flexibility to accommodate changes in demand or supply disruptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to validate planning assumptions, including demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, and production rates.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Co-Manufacturing Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for co-manufacturers, ensuring alignment on production plans and execution.
  • Own the end-to-end co-manufacturing process, including raw material and packaged inventory management, ERP transactions, transportation, and procurement coordination.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support ad hoc supply chain projects and initiatives as needed to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in supply planning, production scheduling, or related supply chain roles in a CPG environment (cannabis industry experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Experience working with co-manufacturers and managing external production processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry with shifting priorities.
