Job DescriptionHow You'll Make an Impact
Manage procurement activities for various categories
Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, with a focus on sourcing for managed categories, budgeting and forecasting supply chain revenue, and identifying opportunities within non-contracted spend through strategic sourcing implementation.
Lead Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal/Pricing (RFP) events, including bid preparation, proposal evaluation, and negotiation of pricing and terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop products and services that generate cost savings and incremental revenue.
Negotiate supplier agreements that drive value through competitive pricing, quality, service, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Manage supplier relationships via quarterly business reviews to ensure compliance with agreements and to identify opportunities for added value.
Develop and implement procurement programs that align with Sodexo’s Supplier Diversity and “Better Tomorrow” sustainability goals.
Partner with operational teams to support cost reduction initiatives, new unit openings and closings, supply chain program rollouts, and issue resolution.
Own end-to-end contract management, including vendor identification, negotiation, execution, implementation, and fiscal year budgeting.
Support Supply Management Finance through global reporting and accounts receivable collection for assigned categories.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
University degree or equivalent work experience providing strong knowledge of fundamental supply chain theories, principles, and concepts.
Financial background related to supply chain operations and budgeting.
Strategic thinker with demonstrated management experience.
Experience with supply chain food procurement contracts is important for success in this role.
Strong negotiation skills demonstrated by past success in supplier and contract negotiations.
Advanced understanding of contract terms, including insurance, indemnification, termination clauses, audit provisions, and relevant federal laws.
Proven ability to develop and nurture strong, strategic supplier relationships that benefit both purchaser and supplier.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level.
Bilingualism in French is an asset but not required.
