About the role

An analytical and resourceful individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. This individual must be agile in the way they think and be able to pivot and be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and dig in to find solutions.

Your responsibilities
  • Financial Planning/Reporting/Analysis: End-to-end finance supply services responsibilities from procuring and costing products from our plants to distribution to our end customers.
  • Business Partner with Regional Supply Service team and Demand Planners for accurate forecasting/budgeting/latest view and variance analysis in cost, supply services, inventory management.
  • Monthly analysis on cost and supply cost including volume, price, and mix in addition to providing reports to corporate.
  • Local Costing Lead including the Annual setting of standard cost and analysis, ad-hoc NPD/EPD costing, and review item master data.
  • Responsible to review/analyze general ledger accounts related to cost of goods sold, foreign exchange, write-offs, and logistics.
  • Perform account verifications and monitor inventory levels, and complete FG Inventory reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end adjusting journal entries related to Cost, inventory, and supply cost.
  • Responsible for preparing reports and gross margin analysis to assist management in strategic decision-making process.
  • Ad-hoc projects related to gross margin improvement and partnering with commercial teams on new product launch analysis.
Business Controls
  • Assists in the management of internal control processes and procedures across the organization with a focus on inventory, supply cost, and COGS accounting.
  • Ensure that internal control issues are anticipated and audit infractions are avoided by performing internal control reviews throughout the year, including year-end assessments.
  • Reviews any deficiencies identified and develops/implements remedial plans.
The experience we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with CMA designation preferred.
  • Preference to individuals completed or enrolled in an accounting designation program (i.e., CPA) or MBA.
  • Experience: 3–5 years experience in Supply Finance disciplines.
  • Experience working in a professional business environment and effectively developing and implementing new processes to achieve desired results.
  • Experience in supply chain finance is an asset but not required.
  • Excellent computer and System skills (SAP experience preferred).
  • Have previously demonstrated ability to be agile and taking on a variety of tasks and seeking solutions to new problems.
  • Independent, self-starter, team-focused professional who will embrace an entrepreneurial and strong ownership culture and quickly integrate as part of the team.
  • Accounting knowledge (journal entries, account reconciliations, & analysis) with excellent attention to detail, solid analytical ability, and comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex and high-volume data sets.
