Job description

As aPlanning Coordinator, you will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain for Agropur’s Fresh Products sector, primarily using the SAP IBP tool. You will be the main driver of the S&OP and S&OE processes, balancing demand, production, and distribution across the Fresh Products network. Your goal will be to meet customer service objectives while maximizing manufacturing and distribution efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include developing the short-, medium-, and long-term master production and distribution plan, conducting detailed inventory projections based on production capacity and demand, and managing promotional volumes using SAP IBP. You will work closely with the demand management and manufacturing operations teams to model the integrated business plan based on real constraints, while maintaining effective governance of the standard process—all within a dynamic and collaborative department that’s growing fast.

Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills).

What’s involved in this role:

Develop and maintain the short-, medium-, and long-term master production and distribution plan for assigned plants and distribution centers using SAP IBP.
Implement and support the S&OP (medium and long term) and S&OE (short-term execution) processes.
Collaborate with the demand management, distribution planning, and manufacturing operations teams to produce the production and distribution plan, considering real constraints.
Manage the allocation of promotional volumes based on available plant production capacity to meet demand on time while optimizing costs.
Identify gaps between demand and production capacity and make recommendations.
Maintain master data parameters in SAP IBP: costs, batch sizes, target inventories.
Ensure sound governance of the standard integrated planning process with peers from other divisions, the IT department, and the master data team.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust them over time.

What you need to join our team:

Bachelor’s degree in operations and logistics management, industrial engineering, management information systems, or other relevant fields.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
At least 2 years of experience with an ERP system (SAP and IBP are assets);
Bilingual (French and English) – frequent communication with partners, clients, and/or employees outside Quebec.
