Job Description

Manage the receipt, storage, inventory, copying, and distribution of materials within the Material Management department at El Camino Hospital. This role is primarily assigned to the Distribution Department but may involve cross-training in other Materiel Management areas. This is an enterprise position, and flexibility to accept work across departments and campuses (Mountain View and Los Gatos) within a 15-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Central Supply Department
  • Minimum 1 year experience with computerized inventory management systems
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse backgrounds, including physicians and surgical staff
Experience
  • One year in a Central Supply Department
  • One year working with computerized inventory systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective communication with diverse individuals, including medical staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Salary Range

$31.79 - $39.45 USD per hour

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This role involves medium work: standing most of the shift, lifting up to 35 lbs frequently, and performing sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
