The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of a range of products, with a focus on maintaining supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and sustain productive supplier relationships. Experience in commodity grain trading is considered valuable, and a background in international trade is also highly beneficial given the global scope of sourcing activities. Success in this role is driven by the ability to deliver results in a performance-focused environment. Assist, investigate, analyze and support global strategic sourcing including evaluations, contract setup and management. Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, maintaining a focus on quality, reliability, and sustainability. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners. Negotiate competitive pricing, delivery and payment terms for critical items Demonstrated skills and knowledge in purchasing practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, especially with Excel.
