About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team.

Reporting directly into the VP Operations, Jona, you will play a crucial role in optimizing Huha’s inventory & ordering, ensuring timely delivery, and streamlining our procurement process to support our growth. You will collaborate with suppliers, monitor stock levels, and drive efficiency across our logistics network to meet customer demand and enhance the overall customer experience.

The Opportunity

• Purchasing & Inventory Management: Maintaining Huha’s inventory ordering and receiving processes to maximize sales and minimize losses, including adding and removing pre-orders to the website on a timely basis.
• Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, tracking trends and communicating them to Supply Chain & Operations leaders.
• Supporting Huha’s materials, lead times, and logistics diligently to ensure inventory demands are met.
• Assisting in creating purchase orders to meet and exceed sales goals and minimize stock outs.
• Supporting in maintaining Supply Chain metrics and reports: rate of sale, out of stock timelines, pre-order timelines, new launch performance, open purchase order reports.
• Assisting in gathering sufficient data from suppliers and shipping partners to make educated and low-risk decisions to release pre orders on our eCommerce site.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: Support Supply Chain leaders with demand planning, analyzing sales history and trends to plan production and inventory needs; liaise with operations leaders and marketing to plan around inventory updates for upcoming launches and promotions.
• Logistics: Coordinating transportation and distribution activities, including supporting with selecting carriers, optimizing routes, and tracking shipments.
• Maintaining Huha’s logistics of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes both standard product shipments as well as prototypes and/or other miscellaneous shipping needs to support the larger team.
• Keeping Huha’s 3PL abreast of new incoming shipments, ensuring all shipments clear customs and move through to successful delivery.
• Maintaining all tracking and information documents used by Huha and our 3PL warehouse.
• Liaising with 3PL to ensure packaging stock levels are up to date and accurate, and place purchase orders with suppliers to ensure we always have on-brand packaging and materials needed.
• Working with Huha’s Supply Chain leaders and freight forwarders to assist with negotiating and strategizing to decrease import costs.
• Reporting + Analytics: Maintain tracking and reports for data and analytics to support Supply Chain leaders with making informed decisions.
• Providing inventory reports and updates.
• Maintaining and providing ROS reports and sales metrics.
• Supporting the team as needed with pulling ad hoc reports to provide accurate and up-to-date data for key decision making.

What You Bring to the Table

• You have 2-3 years experience in supply chain, demand planning, or a related field.
• You have exceptional Excel and Google Sheets experience and knowledge at an advanced level.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have excellent communication, organization and negotiation abilities.
• You have demonstrated experience in managing timelines, communications and liaising with outside vendors.
• You have experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
• You have a proven ability to take raw data and produce meaningful reports and information sources.
• Bonus Points: Relevant experience in the eCommerce industry, specifically in apparel, and you are fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Location & Working Hours

• This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, Canada, and will require travel to our office.

Total Rewards

• Annual salary ranges from $70,000- $85,000 CAD.
