Job description

Do you want to be in a role where you will provide business and program support and coordination of activities to the Whiteshell Laboratories (WL) Supply Chain team? If so, our WL location is looking for a Supply Chain Site Coordinator to maximize the team's effectiveness in developing and delivering goals and objectives, focusing on providing services and products for customers and stakeholders. What will you be doing!
  1. Supporting iProcurement requisitions.
  2. Coordinating and preparing procurement requests (Ireqs) for internal clients, including ensuring all required information and documentation is provided.
  3. Tracking the requisition status and following up as required.
  4. Developing and implementing manuals, plans, procedures, operating instructions and mechanisms to support business operations and activities.
  5. Running daily, weekly, bi-weekly & quarterly reports.
  6. Supporting the Supply Chain (SC) leadership through the Manager, SC, coordinating annual operational planning.
  7. Monitoring and reporting on program compliance and progress.
  8. Preparing business operations/performance reports for senior-level management to articulate emerging issues and communicating the planned courses of action.
  9. Assisting the line organizations with the analysis of Performance and Cost data reports and variances monthly.
  10. Providing administrative support as needed.
  11. Monitoring and updating the WL SC Intranet page on MyCNL.
  12. Monitoring and facilitating the implementation of the ImpAct program for SC.
  13. Undertaking the administration of various SC projects and committees on an as-needed basis.
  14. Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
  • Education
    • University Degree or Diploma in Commerce or Business Administration, or a Certificate with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; or
    • A combination of formal training with at least eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Experience
    • Experience with strategic and operational planning, balanced scorecards, and performance management.
    • Experience in planning, scheduling, financial management, analysis, and reporting.
    • Experience setting objectives, tracking performance, investigating anomalies, and writing reports.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Ability to engage with people and cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives, form relationships, optimize resources, and solve problems.
    • Outstanding organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to define and manage improvement projects and initiatives with limited guidance.
    • Skilled at synthesizing complex information into clear messages for reports or presentations.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Highly self-motivated and a team player.
    • Effective interaction with diverse staff at various levels.
    • Ability to work with personnel of varying disciplines and support positive relationships.
    • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Onenote, Outlook), MS Visio, ImpAct, and Atom.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), requiring 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the US, or the UK.
Working Conditions:
  • Compressed work week: four days, ten hours a day, starting at 6 a.m.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
