As a Supply Chain Security Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in optimizing end-to-end warehousing operations by transforming raw logistics data into actionable insights. Your analytical precision will support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across warehouse and distribution centers. For example, by analyzing trends in the storage and delivery of delicate flowers and fresh ingredients, you’ll help ensure timely deliveries to local stores—contributing to everyday lunches and family celebrations. The Supply Chain Security Specialist will assist our client and corporate security team with reviewing claims and fraud activities to identify subscribers and compromised devices. In addition, this role will coordinate system management and analysis of claims, loss trends, and provide investigation and business process support. You will provide the General Manager with tools to prepare an accurate forecast including annual target and quarterly forecasts and prepare operational and financial reports for management. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.

How you create impact

Data Collection, Analysis, Reporting:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making on investigations
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems.
  • Create and manage complex Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to present data insights.

Operational Support:

  • Support Supply Chain on Shipment tracking
  • Cross functional support on loss prevention business process
  • Fleet Tracking Management
  • Administrative Support for transportation claims

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other team members to understand data needs and objectives.
  • Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices with loss prevention within the Supply Chain
  • Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
