1 Year Contract

What you'll do:

  • Oversee supply chain process improvements, focusing on vendor purchasing and distribution efficiency in dry grocery offshore operations.
  • Collaborate closely with category and procurement teams across the organization to improve supply chain processes, focusing on activities outside North America.
  • Manage a team of analysts who are responsible for replenishment buying and ensuring consistent follow-up processes. Provide guidance on their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Direct your team to analyze current operations and suggest improvements to procedures and practices that increase efficiency and meet business objectives.
  • Undertake process improvement efforts aimed at optimizing product flow from supplier to shelf by enhancing engagement with key performance indicators.
  • Provide business coverage for the Senior Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity in leadership and decision-making.
  • Act as a champion of change for all systems used by replenishment teams. Guide team members and ensure they are engaged with new systems and processes.
  • Address inquiries and issues from internal supply chain personnel promptly, providing solutions to system-related challenges.
  • Coach and train Analysts in resolving replenishment system issues, enhancing reporting capabilities, and managing vendor relationships effectively.
  • Build and lead diverse teams that promote an inclusive workplace environment where everyone feels they belong.

What you bring:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in leading people.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in retail or wholesale grocery business is preferred.
  • Knowledge of replenishment operations or a willingness to learn these concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines and targets efficiently.
  • Comfort working in a highly flexible environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing projects that involve multiple teams or business partners within strict timelines.
  • Proficiency in SAP, JDA Demand & Fulfillment software, MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook is required.
