Supply Chain Planner

Ayr, ON, Canada

Hybrid 3-days onsite/week

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to join the ANH North America Regional Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Planner will oversee the inventory of in-house manufactured materials, guaranteeing optimal inventory levels and taking proactive measures to identify and address potential supply risks within the regional distribution center and ANH premix production sites. This pivotal role involves strategic engagement with the global production and distribution network to fulfill regional requirements, streamlining internal processes to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve the regional supply chain objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with ANH S&OP Lead to ensure appropriate inventory levels in the region, swiftly identifying anomalies and determining root causes. Coordinate phase-in/out strategies and material substitutions in partnership with Nutritional Services and Commercial.
  2. Work with Global Inventory Planners and Global Supply Chain Managers to ensure timely replenishment shipments to the Regional Distribution Center. Monitor container optimization levels and promptly communicate any shipment delays, FDA holds, or other issues to the ANH S&OP Lead and blend plants.
  3. Organize and optimize stock transfer orders between the regional distribution center and premix production sites in North America, ensuring consistently optimal inventory levels.
  4. Support the ANH S&OP Lead in resolving order fulfillment issues, including inventory allocation and special batch requirements.
  5. Create purchase requisitions for third-party raw materials in case of shortages from the group-supplied materials, ensuring uninterrupted supply chain operations while adhering to global guidelines.
  6. Monitor and control inventory positions, taking proactive measures to address blocked or aging inventory by orchestrating necessary actions for consumption.
  7. Provide support to the ANH S&OP Lead in effectively managing working capital and achieving regional inventory targets.

You bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience in Production, Planning, or Inventory Analysis, plus 10+ year experience
  • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Sales and Distribution functions.
  • Demonstrated statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills using various software and tools.
  • Familiarity with a variety of Supply Chain Management concepts and procedures e.g., MRP, Inventory Coverage, Operating Working Capital, Demand Planning, OTIF (On Time In Full).
  • Solid quantitative computer skills including MS suite.
  • Experience in SAP (APO/R3), BW and the master data driving the various systems and processes.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset, known for responsiveness and a proactive sense of urgency to drive results.
