Our client in Charlottetown - a dynamic and growth-oriented company, is seeking a results-driven S&OP Planner to join its team in a cross-functional role supporting efficient and effective supply chain management. This position plays a key role in executing and optimizing the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, with a strong focus on data analytics and collaboration across business units. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between commercial and operations teams, ensuring alignment and progress in demand and supply planning efforts.
Lead daily, weekly, and monthly S&OP processes to determine optimal production rates and inventory levels.
Monitor and address gaps between demand forecasts and supply capabilities.
Proactively plan for variables such as product launches, promotions, seasonal shifts, and market fluctuations.
Create and maintain both routine and ad-hoc reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Contribute to the development of annual budgets and support cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data inputs within the demand planning process.
Continuously evaluate and improve the S&OP process for efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders to maintain momentum in the S&OP cycle.
Minimum 4 years of experience in forecasting or demand planning within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong experience with MRP and inventory management systems.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across departments.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels, including manufacturing and warehouse settings.
