About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Defence team at our Tomago site. In this key leadership role, you will contribute to the delivery of world-class engineering solutions and products to Defence and industry customers. Working on unique and complex projects, you will play a pivotal role in managing supply chain operations to ensure the efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of materials and services.To be considered for this role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and import/export activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and Defence representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Defence procurement regulations and quality management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes to support project delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to the delivery of innovative engineering and manufacturing projects in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within the defence, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality materials and services.
  • A passion for problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive, collaborative, and positive approach to your work.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR) for procurement and supply management.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 standards and Defence industry procurement frameworks.
  • Previous experience in the defence, construction, or manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with ITAR export controls would be beneficial but is not essential.
