Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including Material Planning, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and a proven track record in supply chain management within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Major Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support business objectives.
- Forecast supplier demand and plan inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Material Planning & Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Work with suppliers to optimize lead times, stock positions, and EOQ to drive speed and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct risk assessments.
- Logistics & Distribution
- Manage outbound logistics operations.
- Ensure on-time shipment of products, ensuring optimal working capital levels.
- Ensure synchronization of material planning, producing planning, and shipping
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize ERP and other supply chain management tools to streamline processes and improve visibility.
Skills And Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or SCMP preferred).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related areas.
- Strong experience in managing global supply chains and working with international suppliers (preferred).
- Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
