Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including Material Planning, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and a proven track record in supply chain management within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Major Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support business objectives.
    • Forecast supplier demand and plan inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
    • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Material Planning & Supplier Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
    • Work with suppliers to optimize lead times, stock positions, and EOQ to drive speed and cost-effectiveness.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct risk assessments.
  • Logistics & Distribution
    • Manage outbound logistics operations.
    • Ensure on-time shipment of products, ensuring optimal working capital levels.
    • Ensure synchronization of material planning, producing planning, and shipping
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Utilize ERP and other supply chain management tools to streamline processes and improve visibility.
Skills And Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or SCMP preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related areas.
    • Strong experience in managing global supply chains and working with international suppliers (preferred).
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
