Job summary

Nexans Canada is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Intern to support planning, logistics, and inventory management across operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and finished goods are available on time and at the right cost.

This hands-on role offers exposure to SAP or ERP planning tools and dashboards, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects with mentorship from experienced professionals in a global industrial group.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in SCM or related field.
• Internship or project experience in supply chain, logistics, or production is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and Power BI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supply and demand planning based on forecasts, orders and capacity.
• Monitor plan adherence and highlight risks (stock-outs, delays).
• Support inventory and materials management, tracking stock levels.
• Coordinate production and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Build dashboards and reports (service level, lead time, inventory KPIs); analyze data for trends and improvements.
• Support master data quality checks (lead times, MOQ, item master).
