Job Description

Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team for an 11-week contract, with a strong potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary expert for all inquiries related to purchase orders and inventory, creating FAQs to support the development of an order management guide.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate on solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Train team members on new procedures and facilitate change management initiatives.
  • Supervise daily transaction execution, providing support as needed to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring timely and accurate order placements in alignment with SLAs for internal teams and suppliers.
  • Promptly addressing and resolving urgent orders or escalations, demonstrating strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Proactively managing back orders and effectively communicating any supply delays or issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Process inventory adjustment requests within SLAs to maintain system accuracy.
  • Assist with reverse flow processes and transactions as required.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of work instructions and process documents to ensure clarity and consistency in team training.
  • Support reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating with relevant teams to achieve targeted metrics.
  • Participate in projects related to Supply Chain and Operational processes as needed.
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain, Operations, or Inventory, along with relevant work experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to clean, organize, and report on business metrics while highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, along with a solid understanding of ERP systems.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.
