Your role at Baxter:

Working in our Warehouse Mississauga for the Warehouse Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator is a member of a team responsible for executing standard warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, order picking and staging, put away, replenishment and performing associated system updates. In addition, the warehouse team executes facility maintenance activities to support our service/warehouse operation. As we are dealing with medical equipment, our environment requires careful attention to detail and close compliance to process and handling requirements. In addition, we are in a state of growth and change and want team members who can help us achieve operational excellence and be part of making Baxter one of the best places to work in Canada.

What you will be doing:

Warehouse Activities

  • Coordinates all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Receive, reconcile and put away inbound shipments
    • Physical receiving of devices from courier/freight shipments.
    • Loading and unloading for goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
  • Execute receiving and inspection for spare parts and devices per local SOPs
  • Provide Return Waybills to customers for devices that requires returns/repair
  • Pick, Pack and ship finish goods and spare part orders with courier/freight shipments.
  • Shipping of finish goods to Customers
    • Create waybill for shipping
    • Create Proforma Invoice for international shipments
    • Packing slip
  • Responsible for accurately performing all inventory transactions on our JDE/SAP system
    • Perform JDE/SAP ship confirmation for orders after shipping
    • Close Service Records prior to device shipment
  • Escalate any receiving and shipping issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Replenish inventory in the service centre
  • Perform regular, accurate Cycle Counting and assist in resolution of inventory issues
  • Prepare of packaging materials to support service and customer order activities
  • Perform validation of outbound shipments when needed
  • Check for holds and complaints for all devices for service and finished goods
  • Movement and distribution of materials, devices, parts, and accessories throughout the facility
  • Staging and disposal of waste materials
  • Use the forklift and other equipment safely and as appropriate while performing these duties
  • Proactively drive Enterprise Management Systems (EMS) objectives and improvement initiatives
  • Follow FIFO inventory procedures.

What do you bring:

  • High school diploma or Post-secondary education or relevant work experience
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a routine basis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to closely follow direction / procedures
  • Capability to drive a forklift (We will train if not currently certified).
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar email application)

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a Warehouse environment
  • Experience or certification operating a forklift
  • Experience with JDE/SAP or similar inventory systems
