Job summary

Bosch Rexroth Canada in Welland, Ontario is seeking a motivated graduate or current student in supply chain management, MIS or business analytics to join our procurement and automation team. This position provides exposure to real-world procurement processes and hands-on automation projects.

The role involves analyzing backlog, expediting procurement, managing purchase orders, and designing automated workflows to streamline vendor communications.

Qualifications

• Graduating soon or enrolled in supply chain, MIS, or analytics program.
• Interest in automating business processes (RPA, Power Automate, VBA/SQL/Python).
• Basic SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Analytical mindset with focus on scalable automation.
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze backlog reports and expedite procurement with vendors.
• Maintain and monitor expedites; respond within 24–48h.
• Enter, confirm, and manage purchase orders.
• Execute material planning; monitor stock levels.
• Identify bottlenecks in daily operations.
• Design and build automated workflows to streamline orders and vendor communications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze backlog reports and initiate proactive communication with vendors to expedite product procurement


• Maintain and monitor expedite communication; provide responses within 24/48h


• Entry, confirmation, and management of purchase orders


• Execute material planning processes; monitor stock levels


• Identify bottlenecks in daily operations


• Design, prototype, and build automated workflows to streamline order management and vendor communications

Qualifications

• Graduate (graduated within the last 6 months) or currently enrolled in a diploma/degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field of study.


• Strong interest in business process automation (e.g., RPA, Power Automate, VBA/Macros, Python, or SQL)


• Basic knowledge of SAP is an asset


• Analytical mindset with a passion for transforming manual workflows into scalable, automated processes


• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
