We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate to join our team. This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the company’s supply chain management system, including purchasing, shipping, receiving, sales, administration, and inventory management, all while fostering positive relationships with couriers, suppliers, and customers.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following profile:

    • Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian or US citizen, or a permanent resident of Canada, and will be required to provide a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
    • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or demonstrated relevant experience. Training or experience in Shipping/Receiving, Procurement, Material Management or Business Administration is an asset.
    • Experience with computers, including Microsoft Word and Outlook; working knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP software is an asset.
    • Demonstrated ability to determine cost effective and appropriate methods of shipment, coordinate logistics, and accurately prepare bills of lading, customs forms, and other shipping documents.
    • Able to safely lift and move heavy packages for packing outbound goods for shipment and receiving/distributing inbound goods throughout the facility.
    • Proficient in inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages, and rejecting damaged goods. Experience unpacking, coding, and routing goods to appropriate locations.
    • Experience in using pallet trucks, securing pallets, recording contents, packing goods, and affixing identifying information and shipping instructions is an asset.
    • Working knowledge of procurement practices, including supplier assessment, material cost evaluation and execution of purchase orders is an asset.
    • Knowledge of ITAR and transportation of dangerous goods is an asset.
    • Must work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment and maintain a positive, self-motivated outlook.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
