Job description

Central City Brewers and Distillers

is a craft brewery based in Surrey, British Columbia, known for developing and selling award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits. Established in 2003, CCBD has received numerous accolades, including being named Canada’s Best Brewery in 2010 and 2012. Our Red Racer brand is highly popular across North America. We recently expanded with a new brewery, distillery, storage facility, and a canning line for contract manufacturing.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting production by managing procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of supplies aligned with our production plans and company goals. This cross-functional role involves collaboration with sales, operations, finance, and supply chain teams, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  1. Process purchase orders using SAP, including inquiries, expediting, and tracking.
  2. Review production plans and manage purchase orders to meet manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
  3. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers for optimal value.
  4. Maintain accurate supplier records, including pricing and contacts.
  5. Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve product non-conformities and minimize disruptions.
  6. Reconcile monthly inventory with 3PL and ERP records.
  7. Work with warehouse to coordinate inbound volume and support outbound logistics.
  8. Assist with inventory counts and accuracy for packaging materials and ingredients.
  9. Coordinate transfers between 3PL warehouses.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  11. Support procurement KPIs and performance reporting.
  12. Assist with bidding processes, RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  13. Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier efficiency and alternative materials.
  14. Reconcile invoices with purchase orders for accuracy.
  15. Develop and maintain procurement processes across departments.
Qualifications/Desired Attributes
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Knowledge of supply chain management, negotiation, and vendor relationships.
  4. Understanding of manufacturing in the food and beverage industry is an asset.
  5. Familiarity with procurement, accounts payable, and receiving processes.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
