Job description

Supply Chain Analyst for Supplier Due Diligence and Management will be responsible for onboarding new suppliers, as well as ongoing maintenance and metric requirements. You will work actively with suppliers and key internal stakeholders, which may include Finance, Legal, Export Compliance, Engineering Programs, and the Supply Chain Team.

The Analyst will independently manage the Supplier Due Diligence program, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled and maintained. They will assess risk and make recommendations to stakeholders to mitigate risks or provide alternative solutions. This role will monitor key metrics and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Day-to-day duties include:

  1. Overseeing the execution and control of the GDMS-C Approved Supplier List, including supplier spend performance management and risk analysis.
  2. Reviewing and assessing elements of Supplier Due Diligence such as:

Execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements

  • Financial Review
  • Visual Compliance
  • Export control status and requirements
  • Supplier Quality Capabilities
  • Supplier Risk Assessment
  • Counterfeit assessments
  • Conflict Minerals
  • Small Medium Enterprise identification
  • Collaborating with key functional areas to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Providing solutions and recommendations to support risk mitigation.
  • Reviewing and maintaining the supplier database, making recommendations for removal due to duplication, volume changes, market shifts, or new corporate requirements.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of Supplier Approval status reflecting known risks.
  • Working closely with Supplier Quality Engineering to set priorities and make recommendations.
  • Developing strategies to improve KPIs and support their implementation.
