Position: Procurement Strategy Manager

We are looking to fill the position of Procurement Analyst for a project-based customer. You will report to the Senior Logistics Operations Manager.

Are you passionate about supply management and eager to impact supply chain performance? We're seeking a Procurement Strategy Manager to lead our inventory operations and optimize stock management!

Your Tasks:

1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies with suppliers to ensure material availability while minimizing costs and stock levels.
2. Coordinate engineering change implementations with the logistics team for seamless supply chain integration.
3. Manage the ERP system database, ensuring accurate configuration for effective inventory management.
4. Analyze supply and inventory issues and propose process improvements.
5. Conduct analyses of obsolete materials, surpluses, and inactive stocks, providing strategic recommendations to management.
6. Collaborate with planners, buyers, and field teams to optimize supply flows through ERP systems.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processes and strengthen supplier relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in administration, operations and production management (OPM), industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) is essential, as you'll interact daily with international colleagues, clients, and partners who may not speak French.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics AX) is an asset.
