Supply Chain Management (SCM) Analyst – Contractor

Adecco is hiring immediately for SCM Analysts with our client in Troy, MI . Weekly pay starting at $24.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience) and competitive benefits, including options for medical, dental, and vision. This is a 6-month contract position (could last longer) with full-time hours (40 hours per week) and a dynamic, fast-paced work environment designed to support professional growth and career development.

As an SCM Analyst , you will oversee inventory and procurement planning, manage warehouse operations, and ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet daily demand. This role works closely with cross-functional teams and third-party logistics providers to optimize inventory management, shipping processes, and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate inventory and procurement requirements.
  • Manage warehousing, transportation, packaging, and border compliance activities.
  • Release shipping orders to third-party logistics (3PL) providers based on daily demand and oversee shipping control and ASN verification.
  • Oversee inventory transactions, including receiving, shipping, sub-inventory movements, returns, scrap, and RMA issues.
  • Conduct daily inventory reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage warehouse operations, costs, and review 3PL performance metrics (KPIs), driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely arrival of all required materials and proactively resolve backorders or critical delivery issues.
  • Monitor customs clearance, tax/duty payments, and address any regulatory compliance concerns.
  • Analyze operational data and present insights to management (lead times, inventory turnover, and forecasted inventory positions).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
  • Experience tracking and reporting results, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting business goals.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex customer and supplier issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, and WMS systems.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $35.00 per hour
