Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP programs is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or equivalent is an asset.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in an administrative or customer service role is required.

  • Coordinate logistics for shipments with production personnel, sales personnel and common carriers.
  • Confirm shipments to customers, inside sales and customer representatives.
  • Prepare Packing Slips, Bills of Lading, Address Labels.
  • Complete data entry transactions for shipped product.
  • Maintain records of applicable shipping-related documentation.
  • Maintain Distribution Center office and shipping supply levels.

For the past century, HPS has grown to deliver electrical power solutions to global markets and provides solutions for complex applications like, mining, rectifier, drives, traction, wind, solar and many other electrical power applications. The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for a Software Application Specialist, come grow with us!

This is a 1-year contract position assisting in the coordination of HPS Distribution Center activities for optimal customer service. Familiar with all shipping, customs and logistics requirements, at the HPS Distribution Center and capable of performing all related functions.
